  • Must be a high school senior with at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, plan to pursue studies in the STEM fields at a four-year accredited college or university and show financial need.
Eligible STEM majors include computer and information systems, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation and physical sciences.
  • Applicants must live in Southern California Edison’s service territory.
  • The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video and potentially participate in a final interview.
  • Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible.
 
Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) Scholarship- Must be a Latinx/who has lived in Orange County for the past three years.  OC graduate who plans to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university.  First-generation college student.  Financial need (must complete FAFSA or California Dream Act application and submit your Student Aid Report (SAR) or CalSAR.
 
Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship - Merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of higher education. The scholarship is named after Gen and Kelly Tanabe, best-selling authors on education. 
 
Equitable Excellence Scholarship -  To support students throughout their academic journeys, Equitable will provide 100 $5,000 annual scholarships that will be renewed to award recipients each academic year for four years, for a total of $20,000 per recipient. The company will also award 100 one-time $2,500 scholarships that can help students to underwrite immediate costs associated with higher education such as tuition, books or room and board. SuperMoney Financial Literacy Scholarship  SuperMoney's mission is to help everyone reach his or her financial goals. SuperMoney's Financial Literacy Scholarship seeks to celebrate students who share our same mission. Our scholarship program awards $2,500 a year to a student who wants to help Americans improve their financial wellness through continued education.

CSEA Dependent Scholarship Are your dependents going to college or planning to enroll in college? The CSEA Dependent Scholarship Program awards $1,000 scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors as well as those currently enrolled in community colleges, college/universities, or trade/vocational schools.

The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship offers $40,000 college scholarships for high school seniors nationwide who showcase leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Application period: November 2025 - January 5th, 2026
   Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship - Navy ROTC Program  educates and trains qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the Navy's unrestricted line, the Navy Nurse Corps and the Marine Corps. As the largest single source of Navy and Marine Corps officers, the Navy ROTC Scholarship Program plays an important role in preparing mature young men and women for leadership and management positions in an increasingly technical Navy and Marine Corps.
 
US Air Force ROTC - Air Force ROTC offers a variety of scholarships that will help relieve the financial burden of a college education. Air Force ROTC Scholarships cover your tuition and most lab fees, plus an annual textbook allowance and up to $500 in spending cash monthly stipend.

Elks Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks members. Deadline is February 2nd, 2026 at noon. 
 
California State PTA is excited to offer scholarships for graduating high school seniors. This scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who are PTA members for volunteer service in their schools and communities. This scholarship can be applied towards courses at accredited colleges, universities, trade or technical schools. Additionally, graduating seniors who intend to pursue a career in the medical field are also eligible to receive one of two Dr. Ralph E. White Graduating Senior Scholarships available this year.

Harris Personal Injury Lawyers Inc., serving and representing accident victims in 13 locations across California offers a biannual, $1,000 scholarship to students who have demonstrated a determination to pursue their education despite suffering a difficult injury.  Applications are due February 6, 2026
 
Beverage Industry College Scholarship Program - Students qualify through their parent's or grandparent's employment with a company holding a valid California beverage alcohol license including restaurants, retail and wholesale grocery establishments, convenience stores, drug stores, airlines, wineries, breweries, etc. 
 
Discover Student Loans Scholarship$50,000 in scholarships to high school and college students. Students are automatically entered to win a $2,500 scholarship when they sign up to receive helpful tips on planning and paying for college at College Covered. Five winners will be randomly drawn. No purchase or student loan is necessary for students to enter or win. 
 
The Vegetarian Resource Group - The Vegetarian Resource Group will award one $10,000 and six $5,000 in college scholarships to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Deadline is FEBRUARY 20, 2026.
 
OCCACCF grants $20,000 scholarships to EACH of 10 students of Chinese descent every year.

 2026 CVHS PTSA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Capistrano Valley High School PTSA is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships this year for
our graduating seniors. All seniors planning on attending a trade/professional school, community college
or 4-year college or university after graduation are eligible. The number of scholarships available and
amounts awarded depend upon the number and quality of applicants. The minimum scholarship award is $500.
 
The CVHS PTSA Scholarships are awarded based primarily upon school and community
involvement/work experience, short essay response, and teacher recommendation.

CVHS Foundation Senior ScholarshipsThe Capistrano Valley High School Foundation will be awarding up to five scholarships of $500 each to Seniors who have made a positive impact while at CVHS.  The deadline to apply is typically the end of March. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee of community representatives. The scholarship awards will be presented at the Capistrano Valley High School Senior Awards Ceremony in May. 2026 Info coming soon!  Click Here to apply.  Questions can be emailed to the CVHS foundation at: foundation.cvhs@gmail.com 
 
 
The Grand Lodge of California, Order Sons of Italy in America, is offering scholarships for the following categories:
  • Academic Awards for graduating high school seniors.
  • Italian Language Study Grants for graduating high school seniors planning to study abroad in order to learn Italian during the Summer of 2026.
  • Career Education for graduating high school seniors pursuing a career in a skilled field.
  • Applicants MUST BE of wholly or partially Italian descent.
  • Applicants MUST BE enrolled in an accredited College, University, Community College, or Trade School for Fall 2026.

Assistance League of Capo Valley (ALCV) Scholarship - This philanthropy provides scholarships to Capistrano Unified  School District graduating seniors enrolled in AVID, or of military families, and families in need of financial support for college and technical school entrance.
 
The CIF State Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award recognizes college-bound high school seniors whose academic and athletic careers have been truly exemplary and whose personal standards (i.e., integrity, honesty, etc.) and accomplishments are a positive model for others. Two State winners (1 male and 1 female) will each receive a $10,000 scholarship. 
Additionally, 20 Section winners (one male and one female student-athlete in each Section) will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship.

Pacific Coast Corvette Scholarship Program The Pacific Coast Corvettes (PCC) club scholarship in the amount of $3000 will be offered to an eligible candidate who is a graduating senior at a high school within the Capistrano Unified School District.  Because PCC wishes to encourage automobile enthusiast activities and the continued advanced development of automotive technology, this scholarship is supportive of, but not necessarily limited to, that end. Hearthstone Scholarship  Many students struggle to obtain a college degree due to the rising costs of education. To address this need, the Hearthstone Scholarship Fund was established in 2009. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000 and are available to students who reside in a Hearthstone property or in the surrounding community. Application window open December - March. 
 
Create a Greeting Card Scholarship - $10,000 scholarship plus win $1,000.Design a greeting card that will be published by The Gallery Collection.Dedline for submission is 3/9/26.
 
The Horatio Alger Scholarship for Juniors  The Horatio Alger Association honors the achievements of outstanding individuals in our society who have succeeded in spite of adversity and who are committed to supporting young people in pursuit of increased opportunities through higher education.

Future Scholars Program Each year at California State University Fullerton, up to fifty incoming freshman and first-year transfer students are selected as scholarship recipients and are awarded $1,500.  Applicants must be first-time freshmen or first-year transfer students attending CSUF.  In addition, must have earned a GPA of at least 2.5.
