CAPISTRANO VALLEY HIGH

 

Course includes exploration of various fashion careers – including fashion sales, customer service, merchandising, styling/ visual display, product development, fashion history, and job preparation. If taking the internship section, students will be placed in an internship site at a local fashion boutique for on-the-job training.

 

Prerequisite: Completion of Fashion Design IA. This course is designed for a student interested in a career in fashion. Students will design a garment made of re-cycled items, and participate in the production of a fashion event. Other subjects covered include photo styling, fashion forecasting, color theory, and fashion cultural studies.
