AVID is an initiative to prepare students in the academic middle for four-year college eligibility. Join AVID and surround yourself with students who like to have fun, work hard and with the goal to attend a four year college! Minimum 2.5 Academic GPA for consideration.
AVID Students:
- Interact with colleges during school field trips
- Apply for scholarships-ALL GRADE LEVELS
- Comprehend scientific methods to LEARNING not just studying!
- Enjoy dedicated class time to study for PSAT/SAT/ACT
- Take advantage of support and tutoring from college tutors
- Overnight (optional) Field Trip for Seniors To Grand Canyon University
- Attend college fairs, presentations by college reps, and guest speakers
