Length of Course: Semester *Prerequisite

 

This course trains the student in all areas of theatre practice except acting. The student becomes proficient in analyzing set design, color, lighting, costuming, and stage make-up. Practical experience is gained in the construction of sets and stage materials. Course can be taken more than once for credit.  Fine Arts Credit for High School Graduation.

Theatrical Production

Length of Course: Year

 

This is the capstone course in the CTE (Career and Technical Education) pathway for Stagecraft students.  Prerequisite is a year in Stagecraft and being a crew lead.  Upon completion of this pathway (Stagecraft and Theatrical Production) students will receive a CTE Certificate in job training.  For more information on CTE visit the College and Career Advantage page on our district website here.
