AP Credit at Saddleback College

Saddleback College offers credit to students who earn a 3 or higher on AP exams.  This link  goes to their Catalog, Alternative Credit Options.  Also, research the colleges or universities you are interested in and what credit they will give.  On college websites, just type in AP CREDIT in their search function.

AP Scores are only available online

Scores for AP exams are available online In July.  You must have an account to access your scores.

2019 AP Exam Registration

Be on time!

 

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Several sharpened No. 2 pencils with erasers for completing multiple-choice answer sheets.
  • Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions in most exams.
  • A watch (in case your exam room does not have a clock that you can see easily)
  • Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if you are taking an AP Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics Exam.
  • Photo I.D.
  • Snack in clear baggie with name on it.
  • Water allowed in clear container with label removed.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

  • Cell phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), smartphones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, MP3 players, e-mail/messaging devices, or any other electronic or communication devices.
  • Back packs, purses, wallets, satchels(etc). Leave in locker.
  • Books, compasses, mechanical pencils, colored pencils, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, or notes
  • Rulers and straightedges
  • Scratch paper; notes can be made on portions of the exam booklets.
  • Computers
  • Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions
  • Watches that beep or have an alarm
  • Portable listening or recording devices (even with headphones) or photographic equipment
    Clothing with subject-related information

*Students taking the Spanish Language exam will be placed randomly in groups to record their answers.  Historically, the last group can get out as late as 1:00pm

**Release times are ESTIMATED.  Times vary due to pre-filling score sheets, test instructions, breaks, etc.  Large groups may take longer.

You will need to fill out the form and have your student turn it into the Attendance office in April, before testing begins.  As testing dates draw nearer, AP Attendance will show in the Portal.  Please verify that the dates and period are correct.  Please notify the Attendance Office if changes are needed.
