Fall 2021 Advisement

Current grade 9-11 CVHS students will watch an advisement video for their grade level and then review fall course offerings and instructions on how to choose courses via the student portal. Students should talk with their teachers about course placement for next year and choose electives online via the student portal. Each student should review their pre-enrolled courses (based on district criteria) with their parents/guardian and add electives via the student portal by March 7th. Students are schedules to meet one-on-one (virtually) with their Academic Advisor via their English class the week of March 8th or March 15th. Students need to choose their classes by March 7th and their Academic Advisor will review the selections during the one-on-one meeting.

The Freshman Advantage Program is designed for new incoming freshmen of any age who will be attending Saddleback College for the Fall 2021 Semester. This program offers new first-time college students the opportunity to apply early, complete the Matriculation Process early, receive an early Freshman Advantage registration date, and enroll in classes before the majority of new and continuing Saddleback students. Only those first-time college students who complete the mandatory steps by April 16, 2021 are eligible for the Freshman Advantage benefits. Students who are taking Counseling 100 in the spring do not need to apply for Freshman Advantage.
