Join AVID and surround yourself with students who like to have fun, work hard and with the goal to attend a four year college! Minimum 2.5 Academic GPA for consideration.
AVID Students:
- Interact with 4 colleges minimum during two school field trips
- Monthly celebrations with like minded scholars
- Apply for scholarships-ALL GRADE LEVELS
- Comprehend scientific methods to LEARNING not just studying!
- Enjoy dedicated class time to study for PSAT/SAT/ACT
- Take advantage of support and tutoring from college tutors
Complete this Google Form to be accepted into the CVHS AVID program for the first time. You will also need a teacher recommendation form filled out by one of your current academic teachers, not your AVID teacher.
You will be contacted within a week once you apply to schedule an interview. Students who do not apply may be exited from the AVID course.
