Seniors - Our COUGAR COLLEGE BOARD is up in the Guidance Office. Stop by to sign your name next to the universities to which you were accepted.  NEW - take your photo in front of our College & Career Wall - pennants and other props available.
 

Attention Seniors-Get Ready to Transfer from Saddleback College - If you are a senior who is planning to attend Saddleback College next year, it’s not too early to start your transfer planning. Join us in the Saddleback College Transfer Center to learn about the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee, the Honors Program, and more.  Daily parking permits may be purchased for $5 at any kiosk on campus. Click here for a map of kiosk locations.  Students are invited to bring their parents.  Call us at (949) 582-4328 or go to Transfer Workshop Sign-Up to reserve your spot (online reservations available with Saddleback College student ID number).
 

Saddleback College’s Freshman Advantage Program - Seniors the deadline is fast approaching. If you plan to attend Saddleback next year you must complete all steps by April 14th to get priority registration – the sooner the better. Click for Info or pick up a flyer in the Guidance Office. You can also attend Freshman Advantage Fridays.

Advisement is never over - Just because you already had your 1:1 meeting for advisement does not mean you can’t stop by guidance anytime. If you have questions, concerns or want to talk more about your options, plans and goals, stop by! Our doors are always open before school, after school, break, tutorial, and lunch.

EPT/ELM – If you have applied and been admitted to a CSU, login to CSU Mentor to see if you are required to take the English Placement Test (EPT) or Elementary Level Math (ELM).  For more information go to https://secure.csumentor.edu/Testing/
 

Free Saddleback Counseling – Drop in for a FREE counseling session with a Saddleback College counselor. Any grade level welcome to drop in or make appointments during tutorial or lunch in F12 on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays. Ms. Long can answer questions about taking classes at Saddleback, freshman advantage and much more. Make appointments through the Google Calendar on the www.CVHS.com Guidance page.
 

FREE NHS Tutoring -  is every MONDAY in B1 from 3:00-4:00. Tutoring available in all subjects – just show up. Don’t be afraid to raise your grade!
 

CVHS Guidance Text Messaging - Guidance now offers the ability to communicate with parents and families via text messaging app Remind.com.  Ask questions, set up appointments and have important reminders all via text.  For more information click here for signup instructions.
