11/27/2017 Elks National Foundation The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. In April the 20 top finalists will participate in a Leadership Weekend in Chicago during which they’ll interview with the national judges. These 20 finalists will be vying for two first-place awards of $50,000; two second-place awards of $40,000; and two third-place awards of $30,000. The remaining 14 finalists will receive awards of $20,000. The 480 runners-up will receive fifth-place scholarships of $4,000.
11/30/2017 Sixt Scholars Program Sixt rent a car is pleased to offer five high school seniors graduating in 2018 the opportunity to receive a $5,000 scholarship. Must have a minimum 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale and plan to attend 2 or 4 year college full time next year. 
12/15/2017 AXA Achievement Scholarship The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace.

Foundation Scholarship

High school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2018 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 total per recipient – and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.
2/1/2018 Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Eligibility: 
  • Be a graduating, minority high school senior
  • Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States
  • Show leadership potential and demonstrate a dedication to community service
  • Present evidence of financial need
  • Be a United States citizen
  • Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21
3/1/2018 Sons of Italy

The requirements for applying for a Scholarship or Student Grant with the Order Sons of Italy, Grand Lodge of California is as follows:

  • Applicant MUST BE wholly or partially of Italian decent
  • Applicant MUST BE enrolled in an accredited Trade School, College, University or Community College for the fall of 2018

Scholarship amounts range from $500-$5,000.

3/15/2018 MVAC Scholarship To be qualified high school seniors need to attend a CUSD school and have volunteered at least 150 hours; 25 hours need to be in Mission Viejo. MVAC may award up to 5 $1,000 scholarships.
5/22/2018 B. Davis Scholarship $1,000 scholarship. Write an essay in less than 1000 words on the following topic: Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual. Use link to left for additional information. 
6/19/2018 BigSun Scholarship All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in. Please send us a short essay (500 - 1,000 words) answering the following questions:
How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
Has your participation influenced your career goals?
Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?
