AP Credit at Saddleback College

Saddleback College offers credit to students who earn a 3 or higher on AP exams.  This link  goes to their Catalog, Alternative Credit Options.  Also, research the colleges or universities you are interested in and what credit they will give.  On college websites, just type in AP CREDIT in their search function.

Get your AP Scores Online

AP exam scores will be available online this summer.  Reports will no longer be mailed home.  Sign up online so you are ready to access your exam scores.

Advanced Placement (AP)

AP TESTING BEGINS MONDAY,
May 4th – May 14th
Be on time!

See the schedule below for dates, times, location to report

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Several sharpened No. 2 pencils with erasers for completing multiple-choice answer sheets.
  • Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions in most exams.
  • A watch (in case your exam room does not have a clock that you can see easily)
  • Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if you are taking an AP Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics Exam.
  • Photo I.D.
  • Snack in clear baggie with name on it.
  • Water allowed in clear container with label removed.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

  • Cell phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), smartphones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, MP3 players, e-mail/messaging devices, or any other electronic or communication devices.
  • Back packs, purses, wallets, satchels(etc). Leave in locker.
  • Books, compasses, mechanical pencils, colored pencils, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, or notes
  • Rulers and straightedges
  • Scratch paper; notes can be made on portions of the exam booklets.
  • Computers
  • Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions
  • Watches that beep or have an alarm
  • Portable listening or recording devices (even with headphones) or photographic equipment
  • Clothing with subject-related information
     

    All AP Students should have received an AP Bulletin for Students and Parents.  If you did not receive one and are currently enrolled in an AP class please pick up a bulletin in the Guidance Office.   It is very important to read the Bulletin to be prepared for testing.

    *Students taking the Spanish Language exam will be placed randomly in groups to record their answers.  Historically, the last group can get out as late as 1:00pm

If you have an exam conflict or athletic conflict

ALTERNATE EXAMS (due to CIF tournament conflict) 
It is the athletes responsibility to check with their coaches to see if they will be competing in CIF finals/tournaments that conflicts with their AP test.
Please see Mrs. Churchfield (Extra fee applies:
$45 per exam for CIF related ALT exams)

ATERNATIVE EXAMS (due to two AP tests or an IB test on the same day/time)
Students must see Mrs. Churchfield  --- if you have a conflict with 2 AP tests or an IB test on the same day/time. No  extra fee if two AP tests or an IB test are on the same date/time.

Attendance Form

Click here for Attendance Form-Will be handed out at Pre-administration Session Week.

You will need to fill out two forms identically.  Turn one form into the Attendance office.  Keep the other form as your pass on and off campus during testing.  AP Attendance is now showing in the Portal.  Please verify that the dates and period are correct.  Please notify the Attendance Office if changes are needed.
