Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity.
Capo's Operation Smile club helps raise funds and awareness throughout the year for these deserving children. Each year, we are able to give the gift of a smile to two or three children. As high school students, we have the opportunity to go on medical missions all around the world, teaching others about health, getting the chance to observe actual cleft lip/palate surgeries, and seeing real miracles happen. Club president Shannon Kiang went to Asuncion, Paraguay, in November 2007, and vice president Charleen Pham will go to Santa Cruz, Bolivia in March 2009. You can do it too. Be someone.
