Adopt A Family!

We are  helping out a family in need by providing Gifts and signed cards from our AVID family.  

December 13th- Bring gifts for family that you signed up with in the spreadsheet

December 14th-  Help us by volunteering to wrap Gifts. Meet in M7 at 7:00 Am.

Join AVID and surround yourself with students who like to have fun, work hard and with the goal to attend a four year college! Minimum 2.5 Academic GPA for consideration.

 

AVID STUDENTS:

-Interact with 4 colleges minimum during two school field trips

-Monthly celebrations with like minded scholars

-Apply for scholarships-ALL GRADE LEVELS

-Comprehend scientific methods to LEARNING not just studying!

-Enjoy dedicated class time to study for PSAT/SAT/ACT

-Take advantage of support and tutoring from college tutors

 

Complete the attached Google Form to be accepted into the CVHS AVID program for the first time. You will also need a teacher recommendation form filled out by one of your current academic teachers, NOT YOUR AVID teacher. 

 

You will be contacted within a week once you apply to schedule an interview. Students who DO NOT APPLY may be exited from the AVID course.
