Founded in 1995, the Capistrano Valley High School Academy of Technology, Math, and Science is a challenging program intended to better serve and promote students who have demonstrated exceptional ability, interest, and/or aptitude in the areas of mathematics, science, or technology.
Students from the Academy have attended such institutions as MIT, Caltech, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Rice, Stanford, the Naval Academy, Columbia, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCI, UCSD, Boston University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, and the list goes on. All incoming Freshmen interested in pursuing an IB Diploma are urged to enroll in ATMS.
